How Whatnot fees work in 2026

Separately, there’s a 2.9% + $0.30 payment processing fee and this one is charged on the total order value, meaning item price plus buyer-paid shipping and tax. And in select categories, Whatnot now applies a 0% commission on the portion of a sale above $1,500 (you still pay processing on the full amount) useful for high-value cards, collectibles, and luxury bags. UK and EU sellers pay a different structure (roughly 6.67% + VAT).
