How Grailed fees work in 2026

Grailed charges a commission plus payment processing. The commission is 9% on sales of $120 and above, and a reduced 6% (minimum $1.99) on sales under $120. On top of that, Stripe processing is 3.49% + $0.49 for domestic US sales, or 4.99% + $0.49 for international sales (for Stripe-onboarded sellers). Combined, most domestic sellers pay around 12.5% all-in; international sales run closer to 14%.

A couple of things keep more money in your pocket. Completing Stripe onboarding, a one-time identity verification lowers your fixed processing fee by $0.50 per transaction; for a seller moving 50 items a month, that’s $300 a year for a single setup step. And note the commission is charged on the item sale price buyers pay shipping separately toward the label, so it isn’t part of your commission. If you offer free shipping, build that cost into your asking price, because the commission still applies to the full listed price. There are no listing or monthly fees, so it’s free to keep inventory listed and relist slow movers.

Worked example

Sell a $300 designer jacket (domestic US, Stripe-onboarded), cost $150.

  • Commission (9% × $300): $27.00
  • Payment processing (3.49% × $300 + $0.49): $10.96
  • Total fees: $37.96
  • Your payout: $262.04
  • Your profit: 262.04 − 150 = $112.04

A $90 item instead pays the reduced 6% commission ($4.80) plus processing about $8.08 in total fees.
