US/UK pay no seller fee — only processing.
US/UK sellers pay no Depop commission — only payment processing (US 3.3%+$0.45, UK 2.9%+£0.30) on item + shipping. Outside US/UK a 10% selling fee applies. Boosted listings add 8% (US) / 12% (UK) only if the item sells. Estimates only, verified Jun 2026.
How Depop fees work in 2026
For US and UK sellers, Depop charges no selling commission the change it made to compete with Vinted. What remains is payment processing: 3.3% + $0.45 in the US, or 2.9% + £0.30 in the UK, charged on the total transaction (item price plus any buyer-paid shipping, and tax where it applies). That fixed component stings most on cheap items: on a $10 sale the processing fee is an effective 8%+, while on a $60 sale it is closer to 4%.
Outside the US and UK (for example Australia or Canada), Depop still charges a 10% selling fee on top of processing. There is no listing fee anywhere. Two things catch sellers out. First, legacy listings: items created before mid-2024 may still sit under the old 10% structure until you edit and re-save them refresh old listings to move to the 0% tier. Second, Boosted Listings, which add 8% (US) or 12% (UK) but only when a boosted item actually sells, so treat promotion as optional ad spend.
Worked example
A US seller lists a top for $30 with $5 shipping, cost $8.
- Order total: $30 + $5 = $35
- Depop selling fee: $0.00
- Payment processing: 35 × 3.3% + $0.45 = $1.61
- Your payout: $33.39
- Your profit: 33.39 − 8 = $25.39
FAQs
How much does Depop take per sale in 2026?
US and UK sellers pay no selling commission only payment processing of 3.3% + $0.45 (US) or 2.9% + £0.30 (UK) on the total order. Sellers in other countries pay an extra 10% selling fee.
Did Depop really remove its 10% selling fee?
Yes, for US and UK sellers. The 10% commission was dropped to compete with Vinted. Payment processing fees still apply, and the 10% fee still exists outside the US and UK.
Why is my Depop fee higher than I expected on a cheap item?
The fixed $0.45 (or £0.30) part of the processing fee is a large share of a low-priced sale. On a $10 item it can work out above 8%, even with 0% commission.
What is a Depop Boosted Listing fee?
An optional promotion fee of 8% (US) or 12% (UK) charged only if your boosted item sells. If it does not sell, you pay nothing for the boost.
Does Depop charge fees on shipping?
Yes. The payment processing fee is calculated on the full order item price plus any shipping the buyer pays (and tax where applicable), not just the item price.
